Rainy Day Painting...

Today was a bit of a dreary rainy day. So I busted out the watercolors and painted a picture for my cousin's housewarming gift.



She is decorating in roosters, so me being poor and all, decided to just whip up a little rooster to help with the theme. He will be presented in a wooden brown and black frame. I think he looks rather intelligent...

So, I at least feel like I accomplished something today. Now that I've blogged about it, I guess I've accomplished two things!

Now I'm off to sew, I've been working on a few fun little things that I'll show later.

Trying out the blogosphere...

Well, welcome everyone to the inaugural post for Hoodins Handmade. My name is Kelly and I will be your pilot for this journey. So fasten your seat belts, get a drink, and settle in for the ride...

Now, I can't promise you that this blog will be regularly kept up, or that I won't ramble, or that I'll even be interesting to you. But I will definitely try. I sometimes get off on tangents, or get riled up and have to vent, but for the most part, I'm a fairly docile (some say lazy) human being. That being said, I'm going to try to keep it crafty, and share some of my exploits with you good people.

There will probably be a lot of that. You know, the "oops, oh crap" but then, you'll get to experience that with me.
